Although verboten by the teachers, I snuck a couple pictures of Sam at the end-of-class story time. All of the kids were doing a great job of sitting and listening.

Birthday Party Weekend

Saturday Morning we celebrated Sadie's 4th birthday followed by a pasta dinner for Joe's 53rd that night.  Sunday morning was Piper's 3rd birthday (No pics from that day though).

Sam and Sophie swam with their friend Paige at the Seahaus and had a picnic lunch with their matching lunchboxes.That night we had a moms-only dinner.

Little Point with Hunter

Sam and his new friend Hunter were playing with dump trucks at the beach. Sam got really sad when Hunter threw his truck into the ocean because he thought it was gone forever.  Fortunately, I was able to retrieve it.

When we told the hostess "3 toddlers and 5 adults" we were quickly ushered to the back room.  It worked out well for everyone.

First Day of School at LJUMCNS

Today is officially Sam's first day of school.  I dropped him off at 9am without any tears from either of us.  The parents of kids in his class were invited to the church's library for coffee and make sure none of the kids freaked out.  After about an hour we all went home and the next thing I knew it was almost pick-up time.  The parents waited outside the room for dismissal at 11:30 and got a little sneak peek of the class.  Sam did great however I did cry when he ran up and yelled "mommy!"  Then we had a picnic with Dylan at the park adjacent to the school.  Unfortunately Sam wasn't tired and did not nap! I might have to ask his teacher to put him on the trampoline for about 30 minutes :)

Upside Down

LJUMCNS Open House

Sam had a chance to go explore his classroom and hang out with his classmates before the first day of school on Thursday.  He is in the T/Th Playgroup Class with Teacher Lynn and Teacher Michelle which meets in the Sunflower Room.  I also found out that he is the oldest kid in the class (by a week or so).  There are four girls and four boys, including Dylan of course.

Then we met Sophie, who had her first day at LJ Presbyterian, for a picnic at little point
