Long Day

Sam and I both have colds (on top of my nausea and fatigue) which made him particularly cranky.  It also meant I couldn't bring him around other kids.  John took the car with the car seat so we were somewhat stranded at home. This is the day he decided not to nap. I let him color with markers, which came off surprisingly quickly, rotated toys out of the ottomans, let him watch Elmo, etc.  It was still a really really long day. At least he went to bed at 8:30 :)

Rec Center and Museum Cafe Lunch

We met Peter, Ellie, Mia, Hank and Paige at the Rec Center to play and then all went over to the museum cafe for lunch.  The sweet host didn't bat an eye when we told him 4 adults and 6 kids.  They all did surprisingly well.

John finally went to Scripps after a couple of weeks of severe pain and discovered that he has literally broken his neck. C6. And a herniated disc.  Sam has seen his dad walking around with ice packs on his neck and wants to be just like him.

Fall session has started and we moved to a new time slot.  Sophie and Peter are still in the same class. Parker is in this class too! We hope Dylan will join as well.
