We didn't take many pictures but had a great time at our Easter picnic with the Murphy brothers and their family, Todd and his girls (Jackie was out of town), Uncle Chuck, and the Kerrs.

Bird Rock Park
Sam had the jungle gym to himself today and had so much fun. He probably went down the slide a dozen times.
Light Switch!
Sam realized that he can reach the light switch in his room. I think I'm going to regret that dimmer.

Stacking Toy
Sam figured out how to put the blocks ON his stacking toy instead of just taking them off. He was very proud of his accomplishment and it kept him busy for about 30 minutes. He seemed to really think about where to put each piece too.

Playdate at Dylan's
Sam decided to skip his afternoon nap so I called Lauren to see if they were up to hang out and hopefully tire the boys out a bit. They had a great time playing in the Forgione's backyard.

Park and Dinner Downtown
We met Christi, Parker, Erin, and Peter at Kate Sessions Park to see what the scene is like at the same time that Sam's party. I was a little intimidated by the four bouncy houses for other kid's parties and can only hope that the weekend of Sam's party is less crowded. You can't really tell how steep the hill is that the boys are playing on, but these new walkers were having fun playing with their balance.
John got home from his camping trip that afternoon so I went downtown with Christi and Lauren to meet Gaby for dinner. We found queso in San Diego!!!

Jenn-Aire
Fortunately my oven has a locking feature. We need to figure out a good solution for those knobs though. Game on, Sam.

Music and Beaumonts
A few of us are in the habit of going across the street after music class for lunch at Beaumonts. The staff there very kindly puts up with us and the kids.
Wide Load
Sam loved riding in the kid-seat shopping cart at Target. It was very sticky from it's previous occupants and it is about as maneuverable as an 18-wheeler. But the upside is that he can't crawl out of it!

Tuesday
Sam's playgroup met at the Rec Center and we picked up a few new members. It was like a mom version of a meat-market. We managed to get Sam's birthday invitations in the mail, pick up our tax return, and drop off IRA contributions before Sam fell asleep too! When he woke up we went over to Peter and Erin's house. Christi and Parker were there and Lauren too, but Dylan had already gone down for the night :)
