The New Children's Museum

It is raining finally so we had to find an indoor activity.  The New Children's Museum downtown recently opened a toddler exhibit (and we had coupons) so we met Sam's friend C.J. from swim lessons and his mom there this morning.  It was very cute but very crowded.

Sam got himself up the rope ladder quickly however it took a bit longer to negotiate his way back to the ground.

Nightingale & Whiffle Ball

Sam and I dropped in on a music class this morning at Nightingale with John and Parker. We all went to lunch at Beaumonts.  After naps we went to watch the dads whiffle ball game.  That night we had Parker, John and their parents over for pizza.

Boo-Boos

Sam has had three boo-boos in the past 24 hours.  Last night at dinner, he was playing with his friends in the trolley car at Station Tavern and bumped his head hard enough that a goose egg appeared almost immediately.  This morning at the farmers market he fell off of a step on the next to the slide and bumped his head again.  Then he was showing off for a little girl on the baseball field and did this trick that was kind of like a handstand but ended with him eating dirt.  Poor thing had a nose and mouth full of dirt and scrapes from his forehead to his nose.  Unfortunately these are probably the first of many.
