  Sam and I met up with Ali, Ellie and Mia at the Rec Center today for a picnic.  I can't believe I haven't taken Sam here to swing yet. He loved it!

                            

Then he wanted to play on the slide. Only climbing up though. He wasn't that crazy about sliding down.

Piper, Sadie, Kaitlyn and Shane all had a ball playing in the gym before dinner. Sam couldn't quite keep up with the big kids.

Play Group

Sam and his friends Peter and Dylan had music class this morning and then they came over to play after naptime.  Dylan stayed up way past his bedtime because they were having so much fun and Peter covered some miles pushing the learning farm.  Sam had a great time with his friends.

This morning he figured out how to sputter with a mouth full of food to make sure it splatters everything in a three foot radius. Also, you can see in the middle pic that his hair is starting to look like Carol Brady's

  We got some stools for the kitchen island and Sam was very interested in helping me assemble them. He kept trying to fit these plastic pieces together...

Sam has become quite adept at escaping seatbelts lately.  We've long since abandoned the Bumbo, he managed to wiggle out of his high chair and onto the table, and here he is at Target...
I'm glad his car seat and the BOB can still hold him!

Happy New Year!

It's been a busy couple of weeks for us.  We moved December 19th, then the Buches and Heidi came on the 21st, and the Hagens came on the 23rd.  It was a very full new house! Sam had a great first Christmas though.  The last of our visitors left on the 28th then Sam and I came down with a stomach bug the next day.  We're all recovering now after a tame New Years Eve.
